The City of Ottawa has a requirement for qualified contractors to provide all labour, equipment, and materials for the provision of grass mowing and trimming at City-owned properties and right of ways in Zone SP3 The period of contract shall be for the spring/summer/fall seasons of 2025. The City may, at its discretion, extend the period of contract for up to four (4) additional spring/summer/fall seasons subject to satisfactory performance by the Contractor and provided the contract pricing, terms and conditions for the extended period are mutually acceptable to the City and the Contractor. The City requires fully equipped, self-contained grass cutting crews to supplement City forces for the turf-growing season. The Contractor's crews shall perform all grass mowing and trimming at assigned sites, working alone or in conjunction with other city maintenance crews. Commercial General Liability insurance issued on an occurrence basis for an amount of not less than $5,000,000 per occurrence for any negligent acts or omissions by the Contractor. Such insurance shall include, but is not limited to, bodily injury, death and property damage including loss of use: premises, property and operations liability; products and broad form completed operations liability; blanket contractual liability; cross liability; severability of interest clause; contingent employers liability; personal injury liability; owner's and contractor's protective coverage; non-owned automobile liability; broad form property damage; employees as additional Insured; occurrence property damage.
