**As of April 29, 2025, project was awarded to Mesabi Bituminous, awarded amount is $1,282,691.05 Construction of 26 Local Street Segments With Bituminous Surface and Tack Coat Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bidders bond, or a cash deposit in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the City in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract. Question Deadline 01/30/2025 The City Council reserves the right to retain the deposit of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date and time set for the opening of the bids. NO BIDS will be received after the specified hour and date. Any such bids received will be returned unopened.
