As of June 27, 2025, an architect has been selected for the project. Construction is estimated to take place in October of 2027. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Irvine (hereinafter referred to as the "City") is requesting proposals to establish a contract for Project Report and Environmental Document (PR/ED) and Plans, Specifications, and Construction Cost Estimates (PS&E) for Harvard Avenue Complete Streets and Safety Improvements, and any other contract documents on federal aid projects as outlined in this RFP. Minimum three (3) years of experience performing similar services as those detailed in the SCOPE OF SERVICES (ATTACHMENT I) section of this RFP. Please complete the BUSINESS INFORMATION FORM (ATTACHMENT III) to demonstrate your firm meets minimum qualifications. The Consultant or subconsultant shall not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, or sex in the performance of this contract. The Consultant shall carry out applicable requirements of 49 CRF, Part 26 in the award and administration of Department of Transportation (DOT)-assisted contracts. Failure by the Consultant to carry out these requirements is a material breach of this contract, which may result in the termination of this contract, or such other remedy as recipient deems appropriate. Consultants who obtain DBE participation on this contract will assist Caltrans in meeting its federally mandated statewide overall DBE goal.
