Nampa Highway District is requesting Bids for the Construction of the following Project: FY-2025 Misc. Paving Project The work involves paving approximately 5.11 center line miles of mainline roads in various locations throughout the District as well as at two roundabouts, Robinson Blvd./Locust Lane and Southside Blvd./Deer Flat Road. The work includes construction traffic control, dust abatement and final grading of owner reconstructed base course, and paving roads and approaches. Pavement for 4.01 miles of mainline roads shall be plant mix having 3/4 " nominal maximum aggregate size and PG 70-28 asphalt binder. Pavement for 1.10 miles of mainline roads shall be plant mix having 1/2 " nominal maximum aggregate size and PG 64-28 asphalt binder. The typical pavement section for the mainline roads is 3 inches thick and 26 feet wide. The roundabout pavement shall be plant mix pavement, 1/2 " SP-3 with PG 64-28 asphalt binder. The roundabout pavement will be 0.30' thick for Robinson/Locust and 0.33' thick for Southside/Deer Flat, laid in two lifts. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. All work performed under this contract shall be completed no later than November 27, 2025. There are no Federal funds utilized in this project. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Nampa Highway District No. 1 as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The Nampa Highway District No. 1 reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the Nampa Highway District No. 1 Question Deadline 01/23/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
