Renovation of a municipal facility in Coeur D Alene, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Sealed bids will be received by the Kootenai County Board of Commissioners, for the construction of the Kootenai County Administration Building HVAC Upgrade. Bids received after this time will not be considered. General Contractor and Mech/Elec/First Tier subcontractors may obtain one (1) set of documents via checks payable to Architects West and mailed to Abadan Reprographics, 603 E. 2nd Ave., Spokane, WA 99202. Additional or partial sets may be purchased. Bidders are encouraged to register as a plan holder at online. Questions regarding the plan room contact Auron (509) 747-2964 or repro@abadanspokane.com. No bidder may withdraw its bid after hour set for opening thereof, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. Kootenai County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in any bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. $1,000,000 - $1,300,000 THIS PROJECT CONVERTS THE BUILDING HVAC SYSTEM FROM A DUAL-DUCT TERMINAL SYSTEM TO A SINGLE DUCT VAV SYSTEM. THE NEW SYSTEM WILL USE ELECTRIC HEAT AND NO LONGER RELY ON THE STEAM BOILERS IN THE COURTHOUSE. ALL TERMINAL UNITS AND CONTROLS WILL BE REPLACED IN THIS PROJECT'S SCOPE, AS WELL AS THE SPLIT FAN COIL UNITS ON THE LOWER LEVEL AND THE ROOFTOP AIR HANDLING UNIT. ELECTRICAL UPGRADES NECESSARY FOR THIS HVAC OVERHAUL WILL BE COMPLETED. ALL WORK SHALL FOLLOW THE PHASING PLAN IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS TO LIMIT THE IMPACT TO THE FACILITY STAFF AND THE PUBLIC. ALL WORK IS BASE BID UNLESS INDICATED OTHERWISE. Question Deadline 01/31/2025 Written request for requiring clarification or interpretation. No oral interpretation will be made to any bidder as to the meaning of the contract documents. Should a prospective bidder find discrepancies in, omissions from or be in doubt as to true meaning of any part of contract documents, he should at once submit to Architect a written request for an interpretation thereof. Requests received less than seven (7) working days before proposals are to be received, may not be answered. Each Bidder submitting a request will be responsible for its prompt delivery
