Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Coeur D Alene, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a 4,863-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and parking garage.
** As of April 2, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 16, 2025. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Building will be Type V-B construction. Building components shall consist of asphalt paving, concrete, wood framing, insulation, metal roofing, metal siding, wood doors, HM doors and frames, garage doors, LVT flooring, carpet tiles, rubber base, ceramic tile, acoustical ceiling tile and grid, painting, toilet accessories, plumbing and plumbing fixtures, fire sprinklers, electrical, fire alarm, lighting, security, site work. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Building will be Type V-B construction. Building components shall consist of asphalt paving, concrete, wood framing, insulation, metal roofing, metal siding, wood doors, HM doors and frames, garage doors, LVT flooring, carpet tiles, rubber base, ceramic tile, acoustical ceiling tile and grid, painting, toilet accessories, plumbing and plumbing fixtures, fire sprinklers, electrical, fire alarm, lighting, security, site work. Architect phone number 208.772.0503. Project Architect: Cory Trapp, AIA. Bidder must agree to commence work on or after APRIL 10, 2025 upon submittal and approval of required documentation and shall fully complete work thereafter. Contractor shall substantially complete the projects by OCTOBER 30, 2025. Bids must be made upon the form furnished, must be accompanied by a bid bond or other surety in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, and cannot be withdrawn until thirty (30) days after the above stated times of opening. The City of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and to award the bid to the responsive bidder that the City of Coeur d'Alene deems is in the best interest of the City of Coeur d'Alene. In the event the City of Coeur d'Alene elects to award the bid to other than the lowest responsive bidder, the City of Coeur d'Alene will declare its reasons on the record and communicate those reasons in writing to all person having submitted a competing bid. If there are two or more identical responsive bids from which the City of Coeur d'Alene elects to make the selection, the City of Coeur d'Alene shall have the discretion to award the bid in any manner deemed fair and equitable and in the best interest of the City of Coeur d'Alene.
