Alternate bids will be accepted no later than 30 minutes after base bids are due and will be opened on the day of the bid opening. Award of this Request for Bid will be based on Lowest Responsive Bid including the sum of any/all selected alternate bids from Responsible Bidder as defined by RCW 39.04.350. No bidder may withdraw his bid after time set for opening thereof, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding 40 days, This project is funded through the Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public. Instructions program with state funds and is subject to Washington State prevailing wages for Douglas County. Mansfield School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities as informality. Mansfield School District is committed to providing the maximum practicable opportunity for participation by Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), and Veteran Owned Businesses; however, no minimum level of participation shall be required as a condition of selection.
