The site at which new Richlyn Manor Pumping Station is to be constructed and the existing Richlyn Manor Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) decommissioned, is located at 9950 Richlyn Drive, Perry Hall, MD. The WWTP is to remain online and fully operational throughout construction until the new pumping station has completely passed the demonstration period. 1. The work to be done under this Contract includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment and performing all work required for the construction of the Richlyn Manor Sewage Pumping Station Improvements complete in place, and ready to operate and the decommissioning of the existing Richlyn Manor wastewater treatment plant. 2. The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to: a. Construction and installation of a new wet pit submersible sewage pumping station, including but not limited to pumps, motors, variable frequency drives, valves, and sewage piping system. b. Installation of pumping station bypass connection and valve vault. c. Installation of grinder in dedicated manhole d. Provision of new electrical and controls building and associated heating, ventilation, and plumbing system. e. Provision of new electrical service and distribution, automatic transfer switch, instrumentation and control, and installation of emergency generator. f. The work includes all requirements to provide a fully finished and operable pumping station facility including miscellaneous items and operations as shall be indicated, shown, specified or required to complete the work in strict conformity with the Contract Documents. The work also includes all specified, indicated and shown mechanical and electrical equipment, appliances, appurtenances, furnishings, instrumentation and controls, accessories, tests and sundry parts and material as shall be necessary and required for a completely operable installation satisfactory to the Engineer. g. Demolition of the existing Richlyn Manor wastewater treatment plant and restoration of site.
