Direct all questions regarding this Solicitation, and any questions or Issues relating to the accessibility of this Solicitation (Including the appendices and exhibits to this Document, and any other document related to this Solicitation), to: Kato, Eric K. Mold remediation and general repairs to the Queen Emma Summer Palace in Honolulu. The project is located at Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. The work shall generally consist of mold remediation according to specifications attached, as quantified on the attached proposal and scope of work. Scope of work shall include, but not limited to removing existing carpet, cleaning furniture, moving all furniture & artifacts from the offices into a climate controlled storage unit (similar to PODS) provided by the Contractor, demolishing existing AC units and associated piping and electrical, infilling all walls between crawl space and office, infill between floor joists with gyp. board over entire ceiling, install 1 each portable dehumidifier sized appropriately in each office space (2 total), and other incidental work required. Base Bid: Removing existing carpet, cleaning furniture, moving all furniture & artifacts from the offices into a climate controlled storage unit (similar to PODS) provided by the Contractor, demolishing existing AC units and associated piping and electrical, demolish any existing infill and infilling all walls between crawl space and office, install 1 each portable dehumidifier sized appropriately in each office space (2 total) Additive Alternate #1: Infill with drywall between floor joists over entire ceiling To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawaii Contractor's license classification General B. The estimated cost of construction is $245,000.00. The award of the contract, if it be awarded, will be subject to the availability of funds Performance bond and Payment bond (100%), of the total cost of price.
