**As of February 25, 2025, the project was awarded: McGuire Inc - $191,956 Payne & Dolan - $67,000 This project is for roadway construction creating access to a future Town Garage site. Work will be bid in two contracts. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be d11irected to ENGINEER. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than three days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Contract A: Earthwork and Road Base Preparation, includes approximately 1900 CY of unclassified excavation, 4100 SY of topsoil respread, 500 CY of rock excavation and removal, 450 lineal feet of curb and gutter, 3000 tons of crushed aggregate base course, culvert installation, shouldering, restoration of the work area, and other miscellaneous items. Contract B: HMA Pavement, includes 710 tons of hot mix asphalt pavement, 100 tons of crushed aggregate base course, and preparation of the base course for paving. Bid Bond equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid payable to the OWNER. The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rate as established by law. The Town of New Glarus reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all Bids. The letting of the work described herein is subject to the provisions of Sections 60.47, 66.0901 and 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes.
