Contract 1 Sanitary Sewer Lining 8" 5465 Bid proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the maximum bid price, payable to the City of Spooner, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if his bid is accepted, will execute and file the proper Contract and one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10) days from the date the lowest responsible Bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to file such Contract and required bonds within the time set by the City of Spooner, the check or bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in the preparation of a bid or to reject any or all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of bid closing.
