Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Port Aransas, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,500-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work required for City of Port Aransas Public Works Facility , and in compliance with Project manual and drawings, and other contract documents as prepared by Architect. This project entails new offices and work bays for emergency and fleet vehicles and to be constructed to Risk Category IV for windstorms. The new facility will consist of an elevated slab in the Flood Zone AE (Elevation 9) + Freeboard at about 6,500 square feet (approx.) and will be a raised one-story structure. The site is at 415 Ninth St., Port Aransas, TX 78373 at the location of the existing Public Works Building which will be demolished. The facility will have four (4) private offices, Sign Shop, Parts & Equipment Storage, Entry, Break Room, Restrooms, Support Spaces, Work Bays, and Lockers. Thisfacility is designed based on FEMA requirements.
