A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Town of Falmouth is accepting quotes to furnish and install approximately 4,600 square feet of carpet, 245 linear feet of cove base, all associated doorway transitions, 58 stair treads and risers at Gus Canty Community Center, located at 790 Main Street Falmouth, MA 02540. Quotes must include removal and disposal of all existing carpet, cove base, transitions, stair treads and risers. The work will be completed at non-premium rates, scheduled for a mutually agreed upon time, upon acceptance of the proposal. A detailed scope of the project is attached. All quantities are estimates and should be verified by the contractor. Minimum wage rates are required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H for this project. Current rates will be provided by the Town of Falmouth and weekly certified payrolls shall be supplied by the contractor before any invoices are paid. First Floor Offices and Second Floor Meeting Rooms and Hallways o Remove and dispose of approximately 4,600 square feet existing carpet adhered to concrete floor. o Concrete Floor prep as required. o Furnish and install approximately 4,600 square feet of new flooring o Product- Kinetex Against the Grain 1840 Plank 12" x 48" or equal. o Furnish and install approximately 245 linear feet of 4" cove base with 1/8" toe. o Product FLEXCO Value Vinyl Base, or equal Stairs - between the gymnasium and first floor and between the first and second floors o Remove and dispose of approximately 58 existing stair treads and risers. o Prep as required. o Furnish and install approximately 58 stair treads and risers (18 x 42" and 40 x 48") o Products- Flexco 550 Rubber stair treads and matching Flexco 7" rubber risers or equal.
