Normandale Community College is requesting proposals to make repairs to our mechanical systems, drain cleaning, yearly maintenance on our chillers, boilers and other mechanical systems and components. General description of services: The successful proposer (contractor) will perform HVAC and other mechanical repair and maintenance on the following but not limited to the following pieces of equipment below: o Chillers o Refrigeration systems o Heat pumps, radiation and hydronic systems o Make-up air, air handling and distribution systems o Boilers, snow melt systems, pumps o Drain maintenance and clearing o Plumbing repairs and installations o Any other related mechanical systems o Heating valves, unit heaters o Mechanical shafts and pulley systems o Hot water heater systems, stand-alone cooling systems o RPZ devices, water coolers The Contractor will furnish labor to perform mechanical repairs and general maintenance work at an hourly rate. Materials will be supplied by the Contractor unless specified by Normandale. Work orders will be developed for repair work as well as schedule maintenance and a work order will be sent to the successful proposer (contractor) Normandale Community College desires to enter into a contract with the successful vendor(s) effective July 1, 2025. The length of such contract(s) shall be Three years with a possible one-year extension. If Normandale Community College and the vendor is unable to negotiate and sign a contract by June 9th, 2025, then Normandale Community College reserves the right to seek an alternative vendor(s).
