Qualified Bidders are invited to bid on the Construction Contract known as Fire Station Parking Lot Improvements. The location of the project is 5582 Pkwy W Dr, Highland, Utah. The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: Demolish and remove the existing concrete parking area and install new concrete parking lot, sidewalk, curb and gutter. Also includes construction of a CMU block 3-sided enclosure. Question Deadline 01/31/2025 at 5:00 PM MT All questions relative to the project shall be submitted via online. Questions received after date may not be answered. A Pre-Bid Meeting will not be held for this project. Bid security in the amount of 5 % (percent) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security will be returned to each unsuccessful Bidder after tabulation and award of the Construction Contract. All Work shall be substantially completed prior to 90 days after receiving the signed Notice to Proceed. Once the first section of the new concrete parking is poured, the remaining Work shall be completed within 45 days. The Work shall be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions prior to 30 days after substantial completion. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to accept or reject the whole or any part of any bid; or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the best interest of the OWNER. Only bids giving a firm quotation properly signed will be accepted Bids shall remain valid for 30 days after the day of Bid opening. Bidders who withdraw their bid after Bid opening, but before expiration of said period, shall forfeit their bid security if Notice of Intent to Award to the successful Bidder is made by OWNER.
