The contract includes a base bid for the milling, base repair and paving of Middle Road within Dublin Borough. The base bid also involves installation of pavement markings and the removal and replacement of concrete curb, sidewalk, and driveway aprons at specified locations with Dublin Borough. All material, labor, and equipment necessary shall be in accordance with online Publication 408 and Borough Standards. The work shall begin no earlier than June 16, 2025 and shall be substantially completed within 60 days after the contract times commence. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance, performance and payment bonds for 100% of the amount of the contract and maintenance bond in such form as meets the approval of the Borough of Dublin and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by the Borough of Dublin. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 89, Transportation (74 PA.C.S.) and Vehicle Code (75 PA.C.S.) Omnibus Amendments and applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry for work valued at over One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000). A Bid may be modified or withdrawn by an appropriate document duly executed in the manner that a Bid must be executed and delivered to the place where Bids are to be submitted prior to the date and time for the opening of Bids. Bids may be withdrawn within two (2) business days after the opening of Bids only by the withdrawing Bidder's strict compliance with 73 P.S. 1602 and any subsequent amendments. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids, or for such longer period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request of Owner.
