Renovation of a municipal facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work is being done in the Manitoba Courts building at 408 York Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. The scope of work is divided into four phases, three of which form the base price. These include areas of the 3rd floor: a) Sheriff's area and holding cells; b) Courtrooms 301-307, public corridors and signage; and c) HVAC, ceiling, and lighting. Scope of work includes but is not limited to walls, ceilings, interior finishes, data, electrical and audio-visual relocation of cables. Work site locations will be partially and/or fully occupied during construction and scheduling will need to accommodate this by including some evening and weekend work. A performance bond of fifty percent (50%) of the contract price for the Project containing the same terms and conditions as the specimen performance bond included as Schedule A of Appendix 4 (Bonding Requirements) of the Agreement. A labour and material payment bond of Fifty Percent (50%) of the cost of the Project containing the same terms and conditions as the specimen labour and material payment bond included as Schedule B of Appendix 4(Bonding Requirements) of the Agreement.
