Renovation of an educational facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Westside Community Schools wishes to modify the existing chilled water plant to improve the operating performance of the existing equipment. The chilled water plant to be converted from a variable primary pumping system to a variable primary/secondary system. Mechanical contractor to provide service to existing chillers and cooling tower systems as outlined in the construction documents. The District will directly contract the controls work through Trane. The mechanical contractor shall coordinate directly with the controls contractor as required for installation of temperature controls. The District will directly contract commissioning with a third party. The mechanical contractor shall cooperate with the Commissioning Authority to complete all commissioning activities. A printed copy of bid documents including all plans and specifications can be obtained upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of $40.00, made payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. Any addenda may also be printed on request for an additional cost depending on number of pages and sizes. If shipping of Bid Documents is required, there is a non-refundable fee in the amount of $35.00 payable to A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. Printed bid documents do not need to be returned, as there is no deposit to be refunded. You may return bid documents if you wish, and we can recycle them for free. All listed fees are before applicable taxes. A certified check payable to the Westside Community Schools Board of Education or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall be submitted with each bid, Check or Bid Bond will be retained as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails to furnish the required performance bond, insurance certificate, or sign the Contract within ten (IO) days after notification of award. If bid security is not received with the bid, the bid will not be considered The School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part thereof and to waive any and all technicalities and inegularities should it deem to be in the best interest of the District to do so.
