General: 1. B. The existing roofing membrane, tapered roof system, flashings, and drainage provisions located above the rear conference room has failed. In order to properly restore the roof covering system to a watertight condition the SHA is considering bids for the replacement of the tapered roofing system, and roof drainage provisions; (metal comping flashing shall be salvaged and reused). Contractor shall be responsible for all administration, labor, material, and equipment required to complete the work of this Statement of Work. Work Items: 1. Submit all project information to the System Manufacturer for review and approval. a. 2. Provide proof of the System Manufacture's review and approval by providing to the SHA review comments, proposed changes to the work and determination of Warranty issuance. Completely remove, and legally dispose of, of a 24'X 24' the tapered roof assembly including plywood roof deck down to stringers. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Substrate Preparation in accordance with the System Manufacturer's requirements. Install new 1/2 " plywood roof deck. Install new tapered roof system including gypsum cap sheet to achieve proper slope to the roof drain system. Install a new, heat welded single ply (TPO 060 or approved equal) PVC Roofing System: a. System shall include membrane, associated membrane flashings, and sealants b. c. (Metal comping caps shall be reused). Reinstall existing perimeter metal edge Coping per NRCA / SMACNA and System manufacturer specifications. Provide a five (5) year Roof System Warranty from the manufacturer covering all materials as well as the installation of those materials. The Contractor shall provide a two (2) year Workmanship Warranty for all installations.
