The Work of this Contract consists of the Mechanical Roof Replacement at Allen D. Nease High School, located at 10550 Ray Road, Ponte Vedra, Florida 32081. Work will be limited to the low-sloped mechanical equipment roofs at the center of the original octagonal shaped buildings with a standing seam metal roof system. Scope of work generally includes the following: 1. EPDM single-ply membrane and rigid insulation system removal and replacement at the ten (10) buildings as indicated by the drawings. 2. Reuse and reinstallation of the majority of the existing rooftop mechanical and ventilation equipment at the existing locations. Select replacement of some designated exhaust / intake hoods with low profile vents. 3. Remove and discard all rooftop equipment screen-walls, including all support posts and above roof framing. Construction of Nease High School Mechanical Roof Replacement located in the northeastern portion of St. Johns County, Florida. Work includes Roof Replacement and Repairs. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five days after the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and record in the official records of the county in which the project is located a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond in the form identified herein. The St. Johns County School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities and minor irregularities in bidding and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the System.
