Site work for a civil project in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The proposed project is to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to access the site, construct a new aerator, new aerator enclosure, aerator structure, water piping, valves and fittings, piping connections and demolition of the existing aerator structure as contained in the Technical Specifications document and Drawings A. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to access the site, construct a new aerator, new aerator enclosure, aerator structure, water piping, valves and fittings, piping connections and demolition of the existing aerator structure as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. 1. A geotechnical investigation and report was completed and is attached in Appendix A. B. The project will be executed through one contract - the contract includes the construction and installation of all materials, equipment and incidentals for the installation of the new aerator, aerator structure, water piping, valves and fittings, piping connections and demolition of the existing aerator and all other associated work as shown on the Drawings. The CONTRACTOR will be required and should include in their base bid all costs associated with coordinating their work with the operations of the existing facility. The CONTRACTOR should include in their base bid all costs associated with three (3) individual infield piping connections onto the existing water lines at the facility. Each of the three (3) individual piping connections onto the existing water lines at the facility can't exceed a six (6) hour shut down period for each of the individual connections of the new fittings onto the existing influent water lines at the facility C. The following items will be the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Mobilization/demobilization, general requirements, bonds, and insurance 2. All permits necessary to complete the work. 3. Unloading, storage, and installation of any piping and equipment. 4. Perform any clearing, grubbing, site preparation, and grass removal as required to perform the work shown on the drawings. 5. Any required laydown or storage areas shall be within the overall limits of construction reflected on the Drawings. 6. Complete two (2) test excavations to locate the existing piping at the tie in locations to determine the orientation and depth of the existing piping. 7. Layout with string lines and batter boards the valves, piping, connection to the existing piping, piping incidentals, new aerator structure and how the new piping intersects the new aerator. 8. At the new aerator, install all below ground and above ground piping including the butterfly valves above the new aerator foundation. New piping connections to the existing water lines shall be made after the piping at the new aerator has been installed. 9. Install all new buried piping over to the piping connections to the existing water lines. 10. Install the two (2) new connections onto the existing buried piping separately. Each connection to the existing piping can not exceed six (6) hours from termination of water flow to the plant to the restarting of the water flow back to the plant. There are three tie-ins to the existing piping that must be completed as illustrated on the drawings. 11. Install above ground piping over to water storage tank no. 1. 12. Complete the connection to the existing piping at water storage tank no. 1. The connection to the existing piping at water storage tank no. 1 shall not exceed six (6) hours from termination of water flow to the plant to the restarting of the water flow back to the plant. 13. These three tie-ins must be completed separately and coordinated with SJCUD operations and engineering. 14. Construct new aerator structure. 15. Install new piping and piping connections between the butterfly valve and new aerator elevated concrete slab. 16. Construct new aerator components including the following: a. New aerator enclosure b. New aerator structure c. New anodized aluminum guardrail d. New aluminum caged ladder 17. Demolition and disposal of the existing aerator, aerator structure and above piping at the aerator. 18.
