SED# 14-03-01-03-0-006-027 Project Location: East Aurora High School 1003 Center Street East Aurora, NY 14052, East Aurora Middle School 430 Main Street East Aurora, NY 14052 Project Description: Project consists of alterations at East Aurora Middle School and High School. East Aurora High School: 1. Includes masonry restoration, electrical work, new turf fields, new tennis courts, parking lot replacement, and associated sitework. East Aurora Middle School: 1. Includes interior renovations to hallways, classrooms, and public spaces including finishes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing renovations and replacements. Work will impact hazardous materials and structural components as well. Bid bond payable to the owner shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to re-advertise for new bids and to waive informalities and irregularities in connection with any bid. C. Bidders or subcontractors who return all Bidding and Contract Documents in good condition within ten (10) days of receipt of bids and have remitted payment, will receive a full refund of the deposit. 1.6 BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. B. All potential bidders must self-perform a minimum of 20% of the work. The Contractor shall provide 20% construction and/or site supervision as proof of self-performance associated with the contract that they submit bids for.
