East Aurora Middle School Capital Project Phase 2B-Contract 226B Electrical The deposit will be refunded to all Prime Contractor Bidders returning the drawings and specifications in good, unmarked condition within ten (10) working days after the bid opening. Prime contractors who are non-bidders returning complete sets in good, unmarked condition with the above time limit will be refunded also. No part of the deposit will be refunded for partial and/or damaged sets of the drawings and specifications. The proposals will be made as specified by the Architect in the Information for Bidders and will include a certified check or a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than 5% of the Base Bid. The Bid Bond will state that the Bidder will enter into the Contract if awarded by the Owner and execute further security for the faithful performance of the Contract as required by the Owner. Bidders will note the required conditions of employment and the minimum New York State Labor Department prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to advertise anew, and to award a contract for the whole or such portion of the work as it determines to be in the best interest of the District.
