Construction of Myra Road South Extension - Sr125 to Taumarson Road Project. This project involves extending Myra Road from it's existing terminus at SR125 south to Taumarson Road, and includes roadway and roundabout construction, water, sewer, and storm utility piping, stormwater facilities, sidewalk, curb and gutter, ADA ramps, illumination, landscaping, and roadway paving with the City of Walla Walla and WSDOT right of way in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. A mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours is a requirement of this contract. A monetary incentive and monetary penalty for apprentice participation is described in the Contract Documents. The Contractor is subject to all requirements related to Davis Bacon Wage Rates and/or State Prevailing Wage Rates, EEO, and Washington State Contracting Laws, etcetera. The Contract time for all work shall be 240 working days. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Only properly executed bids submitted on the form furnished by the City will be accepted. Award will be based on the total bid. The City Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive any defects therein.
