For the services of: On-Call Traffic Engineering and Land Surveying Services The City of Hesperia reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted, or any part thereof, and to waive any informality in any proposal received. Pursuant to California Labor Code, Sections 1720 through 1861, the consultant and any sub-consultant is required to pay not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations for applicable work. Prevailing rates of per diem wages are on file in the Engineering Division of the City of Hesperia and are available to any interested party upon request; or online. The consultant and all subconsultants shall post a copy of the prevailing rate of per diem wages determination at each job site as prescribed by Labor Code regulations. No consultant or subconsultant may be listed on a proposal for a public works project unless registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for proposal purposes only under Labor Code Section 1771.1(a)]. No consultant or subconsultant shall be awarded a contract unless registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. Services under an awarded contract are subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
