Registering as a Plan holder is recommended for all prime contractors and subcontractors, as Plan holders will receive automatic notice of addenda and other contract document updates via Online . After the bid closes, bidders will be charged a one-time fee of $50.00 for successful bid submission or purchase a monthly subscription of $60. The fee schedule can be accessed at any time at Online. Bids will be accepted for the project via the online electronic bid service through Online or by sealed paper bid. Prospective electronic bidders must be on the Plan holder list through Online for bids to be accepted. Paper copies may be obtained at the above address upon receipt of a deposit of fifty dollars ($50.00) cash, check, or money order for each set, none of which is refundable. Bids will only be accepted from bidders receiving contract documents directly from Online or Kirkham Michael. Questions regarding bids shall be directed in writing to John Riggins, jriggins@kirkham.com at least two (2) calendar days before the bid closing date. All Bidders must be prequalified with the Kansas Department of Transportation, as outlined in Section 102 of the KDOT Standard Specifications or receive approval to bid the project from the owner. Work will commence no sooner March 24, 2025 and no later than October 6, 2025 . All work shall be completed within 10 working days and no clean-up time after the Notice to Proceed. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified or Cashiers check in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Checks or bonds are to be made payable to Pratt County and serve as a guarantee of the sincerity and integrity of the bidder, and shall be forfeited to the County if said proposal or bid is accepted and the bidder fails to execute the contract and file the required statutory and performance bonds as required in the contract documents.
