The Town of Fayetteville is Soliciting Sealed Bids From Qualified Contractors to Provide Cost of Materials and Labor for a Baseball Backstop and Replacement of Fencing Located at 126 Park Dr. In Fayetteville, West Virginia. Bids Must Be Broken Down to Include 1) Cost of Materials and 2) Cost of Labor. All Work Must Be Completed by March 1, 2025. The Town Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids. A) Backstopa. 21 ft, 4" Stainless Steel (SS) 40 Posts- All Posts set 5' in the ground with concrete. 8ft Centers. b. 1-5/8" SS 40 Top Rail c. Bracing spaced ever 48" starting at ground level for a total of 5 d. 9 Gauge Aluminized Fencing- All Fencing tied with steel Military ties e. 6' Hood on top- 6' 9 Gauge Aluminized Fencing on 2" SS Outriggers with 1- 5/8" SS 40 Top, Bottom, and Middle Rails B) Total of 100ft of 10ft Fencing running from both sides of backstop (A) to dug outs. a. All 3" SS 40 posts b. 1-5/8" Top, Bottom, and Middle Rails- with steel Military Ties C) Approximately 203ft of 6ft Fencing Running from the 3 rd Base Dugout to the Left Field Foul Pole, using existing posts and rails (replace as necessary). Tied with Steel Military Ties. Existing gate beside the 3 rd Base Dugout to be reused.
