**As of April 17, 2025 This project has been awarded to SH Creel Contracting, with the awarded amount of $675,068.50.** Solicitation : 100078614-C The principal items of construction are the following: 12" DIP Water Main 1,550 LF 8" DIP Water Main 110 LF 6" DIP Water Main 60 LF 20" Steel Casing Open Cut 60 LF 16" Steel Casing Open Cut 77 LF Any questions or comments concerning this Request for Bids should be addressed in writing to Robert Bartlett, PE, via email at robert.bartlett@atkinsrealis.com. All questions must be submitted by Thursday, February 13, 2025 by Noon. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Law and comply with same. One contract will be awarded covering all the work. Maximum time for substantial completion shall not exceed 75 consecutive calendar days, and maximum time for final completion shall not exceed 365 consecutive calendar days. Time for construction contract close-out shall not exceed 395 consecutive calendar days post NTP. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check on a duly organized bank made payable to Bartow County or a bid bond executed by the bidder, and a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia, in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Contractors shall comply with all provisions of the "Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act" (OCGA 13-10-90 and OCGA 50-36-1). Bidders must complete and submit all of Section 00360 of the bid documents with their Bid which includes the required affidavits related to the E-Verify obligations. The successful bidder must certify compliance with all applicable state and federal laws regarding maintaining a drug-free workplace. Bartow County, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes and regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in regards to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. The General Contractor and all Sub-contractors shall ensure that employees and employment applicants are not discriminated against because of race, color, creed, sex, or national origin. All bids must be made out on the bid form furnished with the contract documents, in accordance with the instructions in the Information for Bidders. No interlineations, additions, or deletions shall be made in the bid form by the Bidder. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days. Prior to preparing a recommendation of award letter for the Owner, the Engineer shall review the capabilities of the low bidder based on checking references for similar work completed by the Contractor. Failure to demonstrate the ability to meet the minimum requirements will result in disqualification and rejection of said bid with next lowest bid selected for evaluation. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and executed on the forms included in these bid documents. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.Estimate value is $750,000 to $1,000,000
