** As of March 20, 2025, project was awarded to Reith Riley Construction , awarded amount is $329,000 ** The project includes paving various streets throughout the town, work may consist of milling, cleaning, tack coat, surface and binder courses through the town. Interested contractors should obtain a bidding packet from the project engineer. The work to be performed and the proposal to be submitted shall include sufficient and proper sums for all general construction, mechanical installation, labor, materials, permits, licenses, insurance, and so forth incidental to and required forthe construction of the facilities. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty conforming to the Indiana Revised code. Said bid guaranty shall be a certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) ofthe BID; or, a bond for five percent (5%) of the BID as surety forthe execution of the contract. The bid bond or certified check should be made out to the OWNER. The contractorto whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish, before commencing work, a performance, maintenance and payment bond in an amount equal to the bid price of the contract awarded to said contractor, and certificates of all insurance required in the specifications. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to complete the work contemplated therein.
