The Tla'amin Nation invites tenders for the Tla'amin Wastewater Conveyance System. Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, all supervision, construction, equipment, labour, material, permits and related items required for the construction of the Tla'amin Wastewater Conveyance Construction, which in part includes the following major items: a) Two new pump station buildings including: a. Electrical room; b. Odour control room; c. Diesel genset structure; and d. Washroom. b) Two new pump station sites, each including: a. FRP wet well; and b. Valve chamber. c) Approx. 2.6 Km of 250 mm diameter HDPE forcemain and appurtenances (blow-downs, air valves). d) Approx. 2.6 Km of 100 mm diameter communication ducts (twinned and single) in common trench with the forcemain, c/w pull boxes and tie-ins to buildings/control panels. e) Forcemain across Tla'amin Creek on a new pre-engineered footbridge with a span of approximately 40 meters, and also conveying a sanitary sewer, watermain and communication ducts. f) Installation of a new, prefabricated pedestrian bridge with three utility crossings. g) Earthworks, site grading, gabion and lock-block retaining walls and accesses as illustrated. h) Approx. 190 meters of new watermain from Eagle Drive to Waterfront Road across new footbridge and tieins. i) Approx. 360 meters of new gravity sanitary sewers and manholes, tie-ins etc. as illustrated. j) Approx. 320 meters of new non-potable watermain extension along the Sunshine Coast Highway. k) Mechanical installations and odour control. l) Electrical, instrumentation and controls; co-ordination with BC Hydro for service. m) Start-up and commissioning. n) Decommissioning of the existing utility bridge and sanitary crossing. o) Decommissioning and demolition of the existing community wastewater treatment plant, after the successful commissioning of both pump stations and the forcemain. p) Modification of the existing septic tanks to be used for emergency storage. q) Other miscellaneous works.
