Site work for a water / sewer project in Sarasota, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Flowline improvements to Bowlees Creek (approximately 0.97 mile) and two tributary systems (from 15th Street East and from Whitfield Avenue) that include: (i) survey and mapping, (ii) channel widening, (iii) installation of two (2) Automated Outfall Structures (AOS), (iv) replace and lower the invert elevation of an existing stormwater outfall pipe that discharges towards 57th Avenue West, (v) provide drainage easements over Bowlees Creek and tributary systems, the stormwater facility within Oakwood Apartments, and the private pond for permitting, construction, inspection, and maintenance of the AOSs, supporting communications, and water quality monitoring equipment, as required. As of January 27, 2025, This project is included in the County's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
