The Work consists of new concrete sidewalk segments, high visibility crosswalks, a pedestrian signal (RRFB) & signage, wheelchair ramps, regulatory signs, and pavement markings along a 0.3-mile stretch of Route 140 (Shrewsbury Street). the Route 140 Pedestrian Infrastructure and Roadway Enhancement Project project. Questions are due on or before February, 20 th , 2025 at 2:00 PM and shall be submitted through the following email asteward@boylston-ma.gov Location and Work to be Done The Work consists of the addition of new concrete sidewalk segments, high visibility crosswalks, a pedestrian signal (RRFB) & signage, wheelchair ramps, regulatory signs and pavement markings along a 0.3 mile stretch of Route 140 (Shrewsbury Street), in accordance with the Special Provisions and plans attached hereto. The work to be performed is depicted on the construction plans attached to this Bid Document. The work also includes earth excavation, construction of new concrete sidewalks with wheelchair accessible ramps, shrub relocation, granite curbing, drainage structure installations and adjustments, and other incidental work. Additional drawings showing details in accordance with which the work is to be done may be furnished by addendum from time to time during the bidding period by the Owner or its Engineer, and shall then become a part of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to perform all of the work required for the completion of each item in this Contract as specified herein. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item
