Site work and asbestos abatement for an educational facility in Belleville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
Generally, the project includes the removal of the asbestos containing drywall systems, asbestos containing floor tile/mastic and general demolition of non-asbestos containing ceiling tile systems at the Southwestern Illinois College Main Campus. Work will begin May 19, 2025 and be completed by June 13, 2025. The Owner will open and read aloud all bids immediately after the specified closing time. All bidders are invited to attend the formal opening of bids. No bidder shall modify, withdraw, or cancel his bid or any part thereof for sixty days after the time designated for the receipt of bids. Each bidder may secure from the Project Design firm, J.S. Held, LLC, 13 Executive Drive, Suite 14, Fairview Heights, Illinois 62208, (618) 343-3590, Project Manuals. The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids and in particular to reject a bid not accompanied by any required bid security or data required by the Bidding Documents or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular. The Illinois Preference Act will apply.
