Custom Outdoor Walk-In Cooler/Freezer Combination Box The Milton Area School District (MASD) is requesting proposals for the purchase and installation of a walk-in cooler/freezer combination box at White Deer Elementary School, 631 New Columbia Road, New Columbia, PA 17856. Demolition - Remove the existing walk-in cooler/freezer combination box, including refrigeration line sets and outdoor compressors. - Rough in existing electrical circuits to the new walk-in cooler/freezer location. 2. Site Preparation - Excavate the existing concrete sidewalk and paved parking area. - Prepare the sub-base and pour a new concrete pad with minimal slope for drainage. - Install a ramp and landing area for ease of deliveries. - Install bollards at the two outside corners of the pad for protection. 3. Construction and Installation - Deliver, build, and install the new walk-in cooler/freezer combination box (approximate size: 16' x 12'8" x 8'6"). Provide and install exterior and interior trim panels. - Provide and install condensate drain leading to the parking lot. - Mount compressors on the roof of the new box. - Complete final connections for refrigeration and charge the line sets. 4. Electrical and Plumbing Work - Conduct all necessary electrical work, including rough-in and final connections. - Perform all required plumbing work. 5. Permitting and Compliance - If permitting is required, engineered, stamped architectural drawings will be required. - Any required Health Department submittals and approvals will be handled by MASD. - Implement ICRA and dust protection measures for operational prep and cooking areas
