As of March 26 2025, the project was awarded to Fillmore Construction but awarded amount is not available. Furnishing of labor and materials required for the 2025 S. Detroit Street Water Main Alignment Project in Xenia, Ohio. Bids are to be submitted on the following proposal: to provide all the necessary labor, equipment and materials for the extension of approximately 4,000 LF of 12" water main with all specified appurtenances to be installed within the right-of-way of U.S.380/S. Detroit Street from the AIA campus to Innovation Dr., including removal and replacement of storm pipe, asphalt restoration, and maintenance of traffic. The 12" main is to be jack and bore under U.S. 35 with bore and receiving pits, and the remaining main is to be open cut, all as directed by the City Engineer and in accordance with the Conditions, Specifications, Plans and/or Drawings included in the bid packets. Pursuant to ORC Section 153.54, no bid shall be considered unless it is accompanied by a Bid Bond for the full amount of the bid -OR- a cashier's check or certified check, issued by a responsible bank or trust company and payable to the order of the City of Xenia, or a letter of credit issued in accordance with ORC Chapter 1305., in the sum of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid. The bid guaranty or bid bond shall be enclosed with the sealed bid. The attention of Bidders is directed to the special statutory provisions contained in ORC Chapter 4115 governing the prevailing rate of wages to be paid to laborers and mechanics employed on this Project and ORC 153.59 regarding nondiscrimination. The City of Xenia reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any discrepancies or irregularities in the Bids. The Bid will be awarded, in the City's discretion, to the lowest and best Bidder. The Bid also contains alternates, which may be awarded in whole, part or none, in the City's sole discretion. The estimated cost, with Base Bid and Alternates, will not exceed $1,262,164.50.
