Site work and paving for a road / highway in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the City of Rio Rancho to solicit competitive proposals for the design of roadway, utility infrastructure, and drainage improvements for Kim Road from NM 528 to Idalia Road. As of August 27, 2025, engineer/design team has been identified. All qualified offerors will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, age, or disability. The City of Rio Rancho encourages Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), small/minority businesses, women-owned businesses, and labor surplus area firms to participate in this solicitation. The design of the project is being funded with local City funds, but all aspects of the design shall meet State and Federal requirements to be eligible for State and Federal funding for future phases of the project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
