LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT Request for Proposals Qualified Environmental Professional Services for Phase 1 and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and Remedial/Reuse Planning/Plans The Town of Athol seeks proposals from Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) Contractor firms to provide technical support and conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and Site Reuse & Cleanup Planning. This work is funded through a federal Brownfields Assessment Program Cooperative Agreement. The Town requires this work to begin immediately upon issuing an award with all work to be completed by September 30, 2028. The Town requires the services of a QEP Contractor firm to provide technical support and to conduct Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, including Hazardous Building Materials Surveys and Site Reuse & Cleanup Planning towards completing objectives of the Town's Community-Wide Brownfields Assessment Project as outlined in the EPA-Approved Workplan. Specific sites and activities will be approved through the period of performance and the QEP firm will be expected to provide site-specific scopes of work and associated budgets at the direction of the Town through the period of performance. QEP funding is budgeted at an amount identified in the contractual line of Athol's Brownfields workplan. The Town reserves the right to reject any proposal deemed not to be in its best interest and to waive minor informalities.
