Renovation of a municipal facility in Manhattan, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Sealed Bids will be received by Riley County, Kansas at the Office of the County Clerk for the construction of: Riley County Plaza East Building Window Replacement Floors 1-3 115 North 4 th Street Manhattan, KS 66502. Principal Items of Work: The scope of work of the project includes removal of approximately 67 steel windows and frames, three storefront installations, and one hollow metal door and frame. Replacement with like design aluminum double hung and fixed windows, storefront and hollow metal door units. Alternate and unit prices also pertain. for examination and can be obtained from the Architect, Baker McMillan Architects, P.A., 555 Poyntz Ave Ste. 295 Manhattan, Kansas 66502 (785-776-1011) for examination and can be obtained from the Architect, Baker McMillan Architects, P.A., 555 Poyntz Ave Ste. 295 Manhattan, Kansas 66502 (785-776-1011) (admin@mcmillanarchitects.com). Plans may be provided electronically. A Contractor's Qualification Statement, AIA Document A305-2020 shall be submitted with the bid. Without this submittal and required verifications with the bid, it will be rejected. A Bid Security made payable to Riley County, Kansas in the form of a certified check on a solvent Kansas bank or a satisfactory bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid price must accompany each Bid. All bidders must be on the plan holders list to be eligible. No Bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of 30 days following the opening of Bids. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish acceptable Performance and Statutory Bonds utilizing the forms provided in the specifications, each in the amount of the total contract price, in conformance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The character and amount of security to be furnished by each Bidder is stated in the above-mentioned Contract Documents. Calendar Days, the Proposed Start Date, and Bid Amount will all be considered in awarding of the Bid. The Riley County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive formalities in consideration Bids and to accept the Bid which, in the Board's opinion, is in the best interest of Riley County.
