The contractor shall furnish and deliver various types of stone on an as needed basis throughout the Area Headquarters of Alleghany, Bath, Highland, and Rockbridge Counties An Optional Pre-bid conference will not be held. The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish, deliver, and stockpile various types of aggregate on an as-needed basis at Area Headquarters within the Lexington Residency of VDOT's Staunton District PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The contract will be for a period of one (1) year, with the start date determined at time of award (nonrenewable). Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Rebecca Smith Coburn at Rebecca.Coburn@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM on January 24, 2025.
