The proposed project includes the construction of a new stormwater conveyance system in the downtown business district of Madison, NC. The project is the first step in rerouting the stormwater system from beneath the businesses along Murphy Street to the public right of way. The scope includes the installation of over 1,100 linear feet of 8-inch through 60-inch stormwater pipe, the reshaping of a natural drainage feature, and the relocation of 630 linear feet of 6-inch water main. The scope also includes asphalt repair, concrete repair, and associated grading within the project area. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
