Site work for a water / sewer project in Marina, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project consists of providing two (2) irrigation turnouts on an existing recycled water transmission main, including two meters, two pressure reducing valves, and the associated valves, fittings, piping, appurtenances and site work. One site includes hot tapping the existing 24-inch transmission main. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. The award of the contract, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with all the requirements prescribed. The bidder must be licensed as a Class A General Engineering with the Contractors State License Board of the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs. Bids will not be considered from contractors not licensed as a Class A General Engineering Contractor unless they hold a specialty license for the specific classification(s) to be performed. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations as per Labor Code section 1720. Proof of registration is required to award the contract, and registration must be maintained throughout the project. Public Works projects exceeding $1,000.00 require the payment of the general prevailing rate of per diem wages, copies of which are on file at the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs Office. (Labor Code 1170, et seq.). The work is to be substantially completed within 75 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed and ready for final payment within 30 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion
