The Project is located along neighboring streets that include Pine Street, McKinney Road, Miami Avenue, and Elm Street in the County of El Dorado, in the community of Tahoma. The Work to be done is shown on the Plans, and generally consists of, but is not limited to: A. The construction of erosion control / water quality improvements including drainage inlets, rolled curb and gutter, and storm drain pipe installation. Other items or details not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, Standard Plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions must be performed, constructed or installed. The Contract time is THIRTY (30) WORKING DAYS. Bidders must be properly licensed to perform the Work pursuant to the Contractors State License Law (Business and Professions Code Section 7000 et seq.) and must possess a CLASS A license or equivalent combination of Classes required by the categories and type of Work included in the Contract Documents and Plans at the time the Contract is awarded. A bid security must be provided with each bid. Bid security must be in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid for bid and must be cash, a certified check or cashiers check drawn to the order of the County of El Dorado or a Bidders Bond executed by a surety satisfactory to the County of El Dorado on the form provided in the Proposal section of these Contract Documents. No DBE goal The County of El Dorado reserves the right after opening bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity in a bid, or to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder and reject all other bids, as it may best serve the interests of the County.
