Scope of work includes, but is not limited to: PCC Pavement Patching, PCC Sidewalk removal and replacement,A Combination Concrete Curb and Gutter removal and replacement, PCC Driveway removal and replacement, alongA with all associated and incidental work, including but not limited to, restoration, hauling, and traffic control, to beA performed throughout the Municipalities. Any addenda issued to this bid, including answers to received questions,A will be emailed to all plan holders by 4:00 PM on February 11, 2025. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified or CashieraEUR(TM)s Check made payable to the Village ofA Woodridge for not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. All work under this contract shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Act of the State of Illinois, 820 ILCSA 130/0.01 et seq. and Employment of Illinois Works on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/0.01) et seq. Offers may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after closing date without the consent of the VillageA Council. Any Bid submitted unsealed, unsigned, fax transmissions or received subsequent to the aforementioned date andA time, will be disqualified and returned to the bidder. The Villages of Downers Grove, Lombard, and Woodridge each individually reserve the right to reject any and allA bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bid procedures and to award the contract in aA manner best serving the interest of the Municipalities, including the right to not award the contract. The quantitiesA indicated in the specifications are based upon the best information available at the time of bidding; the constructedA quantities may deviate from those indicated in the bid document. The Village led a joint bid contract on behalf of a group of three municipalities for Concrete Flatwork in an attempt to hold/reduce the project costs. This motion will award a contract to Globe Construction, Inc. for the completion of various concrete repairs for the Village in 2025 for the Woodridge portion only.
