Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Monrovia, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project generally consists of patching, pavement milling, resurfacing, curb ramp replacements, pavement markings, and the construction of sidewalks within the Town of Monrovia, which includes Baltimore St., Church St., Circle Dr., Creekside Dr., Pray St., Walnut, St., Washington St., and Water St. The Engineer's estimate exceeds $150,000.00 therefore the Prime Contractor must be an approved INDOT Contractor. A Notice to Proceed will not be issued until the Town receives the funds from the INDOT, the typical timeframe is 4 to 6 weeks from submission of the signed contract to INDOT. It is anticipated that the Notice to Proceed will be issued in in April or early May. No final surface paving nor pavement markings will be permitted to be installed after November 15, 2025, unless the temperature meets the requirements of INDOT's current specifications. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty conforming to the Indiana Revised code. Said bid guaranty shall be a certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the BID; or, a bond for five percent (5%) of the BID as surety for the execution of the contract. The bid bond or certified check should be made out to the OWNER. The bid bond form is included in the bidding documents. Should any BID be rejected, such certified check or bond shall be forthwith returned to the BIDDER, and should any BID be accepted, such certified check or bond will be returned upon the proper execution and securing of the contract. When the contract is executed, the certified check or bid bond of all unsuccessful BIDDERS will be returned. The Owner has the right to reject any proposal or all proposals, or to accept any proposal or proposals, or to make such combination of proposal as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding.
