All proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Jefferson College South Entrance Sign - Directional Monument - Hillsboro campus". Each bid shall include a five percent (5%) bid security in the form of a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company. This project includes construction and installation of One approximately 7'-2 1/2 " x 4'-6 5/8" double-faced solar powered illuminated Jefferson College South Entrance - directional monument visually matching the North Entrance / Farm Road directional monument and the Viking drive monument. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible contractor and to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality on all proposals. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. All contractors must provide a sworn affidavit affirming participation on a federal work authorization program and stating that the contractor does not knowingly employ any person who is not authorized to work in the U.S. The contractor must comply with current Prevailing Wage laws and other statutory regulations as referenced to in the specifications.
