This project includes installation of wave openers and door actuators on 10 building entrances with 2 alternate bids on 2 complete storefront replacements/upgrades on the Hillsboro campus. Each bid shall include a five percent (5%) bid security in the form of a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved Surety Company. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible contractor and to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality on all proposals. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. All contractors must provide a sworn affidavit affirming participation on a federal work authorization program and stating that the contractor does not knowingly employ any person who is not authorized to work in the U.S. The contractor must comply with current Prevailing Wage laws and other statutory regulations as referenced to in the specifications. This project is tax exempt. Jefferson College is soliciting proposals to lawfully contract for Building Access Upgrades on the Hillsboro Campus This Building Access Upgrades - Hillsboro Campus project includes installation of wave openers and door actuators on 11 building entrances with 2 alternate bids on 2 complete storefront replacements/upgrades. As each existing door and it’s required upgrades may have slightly different requirements we will visit and examine each one individually during the mandatory pre-proposal meeting on Monday March 17, 2025. All access upgrades will utilize Olidle brand M-512 Wireless Non-touch Infrared Switches and Detex brand Al 09 Low Energy operators. B&G- main entry. 2.
