Renovation of a library in Beaumont, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a library.
Plans call to restore and renovate the Carnegie library, multiple study rooms, a quiet reading area, a charging counter, and a new bookstore. The project will be completed in two phases. Phase one will encompass on-site preparation, adjacent structures demolition, new addition construction, and a south parking lot. Phase two will encompass a full renovation of the original library, expansion integration, and completion of east parking lot. As of April 23, 2025, Phase 1 is under construction. An architect and a design/build firm have been selected. Phase 2 construction is expected to begin in October 2025 with completion in April 2026. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
