Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Christiansburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of April 24, 2025, project was awarded to DCI/Shires, Inc., awarded amount is $1,209,401.45. The Project consists of asphalt mill and overlay, full depth asphalt paving, curb and gutter, sidewalk and curb ramp, storm drainage, retaining walls, traffic and pedestrian signals, pavement markings and signing, permanent stabilization, and associated appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The DBE contract goal for this procurement is 4%. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is A. Morton Thomas & Associates (AMT), 105 Arbor Drive, Suite 101, Christiansburg, VA 24073. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM-5:00 PM by request and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office .
