Est. Value: $ 8,500,000.00 The Village of Hales Corners will be solicitating bids for relaying approximately 13,000 LF of water main with full roadway rehabilitation. Please be advised that this Hales Happiness Water Main Conversion This project will relay the existing Hales Happiness water main system (Hales Happiness Trust) from an existing 6-inch private well system (180 lots) to a public (MWW owned) system. All water main construction and materials will be in accordance with the Milwaukee Water Works specifications. \ Approximately 12,000 LF of 8-inch water main and 1,000 LF of 16-inch water main will be relayed and connected to the existing MWW system. New water services will be relayed to the right of way and a new meter will be installed in each property (permits and plumbing will be required). Additional lots with frontage to the new water main might be connected. \ Approximately 13,500 LF of impacted roadways (37,000 SY) will be restored with a combination of partial depth mill and overlay or by pulverizing and relaying based on roadway location and condition.
