Bids are being received for the Library Parking Lot Improvements project for the Village of Hales Corners, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. Approximate quantities for the project include: - Asphalt pavement removal (2,416 SY) - Removing curb & gutter (511 LF) - Full-depth sawcut (81 LF) - HMA pavement, 3 LT 58-28 S (2.25") (320 TON) - HMA pavement, 4 LT 58-28 S (1.75") (250 TON) - 24" curb & gutter with regrade base (531 LF) - Excavation below subgrade - 18" (30% of parking lot, 350 CY) - Crushed aggregate 3-inch (700 TON) - Ditching (40 LF) - Lawn restoration (hydroseeding, 100 SY) - Pavement markings (epoxy 4-inch parking stall: 1,125 LF; 18-inch stop bar: 12 LF; arrow: 2 EA; ADA symbol: 2 EA) - Two D9-6, 24"x24" signs and posts - 12" HDPE storm sewer with granular backfill (246 LF) - 48" storm manhole with beehive grate (1 EA) - 2'x3' inlet (2 EA) - 2'x3' catch basin (2 EA) This is a unit price contract. Estimated quantities in the bid schedule are for determining the lowest responsible bidder. All bids must be submitted electronically and accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the Village of Hales Corners in an amount of 5% of the bidder's maximum bid price. The successful bidder is required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond for the full contract amount. The Village of Hales Corners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, waive minor defects or irregularities, and accept the bid in the best interest of the Village.
